Those who know me, know that I love to celebrate all the Swedish traditions (For those that don’t know me..Hi, I’m Stina 🙋🏼‍♀️)

Tomorrow is ‘Semla Day’
(16th of February) so last week I got together with another fellow Swede, Sabina @thehouseoflagom to bake some Semla.

These delicious layered cardamom buns, filled with cream, are worth every calorie 🤤

This day is celebrated by Swedes on the Tuesday 7 weeks before Easter. The history of this day ties back to ‘fettisday’ Shrove Tuesday, when the buns were eaten at the last celebratory feast before the Christian fasting period for Lent.

This tradition continues for most Swedes, regardless of wether they are Christian or not, because these buns are so delicious!

Have you ever listened in as your child engages in imaginary play with their friends or toys?

It’s just the cutest thing!

I often hear my little daughter and son playing ‘mums and dads’ and it’s freaky how much of your language and tone is picked up by them.

Recently I heard my daughter ask my 3 year old son if he wanted to play... he said ‘Sorry I have to go to work’ 🤣

I’m not a parenting expert but I do know that creating space and opportunity for pretend play is so important for their development!

Yesterday was an exciting day!
I received our NEW collection of wallpaper samples... and WOW! They are just divine! The colour palette is so on trend and there is something for young and old.

The second exciting thing that happened yesterday was 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I received some NEW Gotland sheepskins to add to our collection which I have been waiting on for months. There has been challenges getting stock during the paramedic.

I will be sure to let you know once all new products have been uploaded!
